Nagsasa Cove, Zambales | DIY Travel Guide

reNagsasa Cove is a perfect spot for beach bummers, backpackers, campers, mountain climbers looking for a less crowded den for adventure. Ash-white sand, bluish green waters, majestic landscapes, and exquisite view. What more could you possibly ask?

They say that Nagsasa Cove is more beautiful than Anawangin Cove. I think they are right! Nagsasa has less people, wider shoreline, bigger beachfront, more space, more views, more cottages, and camping sites. Nagsasa is also farther than Anawangin. Anawangin is just 20 minutes boat ride away while Nagsasa Cove will take an hour to get there. But the long boat trip will be worth it. I promise!

🚩TIPS:💎

🔹There are no fancy rooms and hotels in Nagsasa Cove. This is a camping trip.

🔹There is no electricity in the place. So be sure to bring some powerbanks, flashlights and extra batteries.

🔹There is no cellphone signal reception in the area. Switch your phone to Airplane Mode to conserve power.

🔹Basic commodities sold on the beach are very expensive. Buy your food/snacks and other supplies in San Antonio Market.

🔹Cook your food properly to avoid food poisoning, this is a common scenario here.

🔹Wash your hands before eating. You don’t want LBM to ruin your camping getaway.

🔹Leave no trace, I cannot stress this enough, I’ve seen a lot of garbage scattered along the beach and at the cliff jumping spot.

🔹Hike early in the morning to avoid the heat, there’s no shade in the area as well.

🔹Use the bamboo poles (5 Pesos) to support your knees. It’s a steep climb and the sand/soil is somewhat slippery.

🔹Use your own tent if you have one to minimize cost.

🔹Apply insect repellent at night for a good night sleep.

🔹Apply sunblock/sunscreen during the day.

🔹Waterproof your belongings especially your gadgets. You’ll get splashes during the boat ride from Pundaquit to Nagsasa. Carry them in a dry bag or waterproof bag.
